Boy, that's a STUPID article. I quit reading when it mentioned the Venona intercepts and Harry Hopkins. The US favored the Soviets because we hated Hitler more. The IDIOT author didn't grasp that none of this ancient history has NOTHING to do with what happened in 2016.

Here's what's been happening over the last decade or so. The American neocon scumballs have been stupidly messing around with Russia. Putin believes the US State Department (Hillary) has illegally interfered with their elections (no doubt true). The US (Hillary) backed the anti-Russians in Ukraine. Maybe worst of all, the US froze billions of Putin's foreign assets (golden parachute).

Is it any wonder that Putin wanted to even the score? There's absolutely no doubt the Russians interfered with the 2016 election.

In the last few years or so, the Russians have been spending huge amounts of cash on American politics. I believe the NRA scandal is just the tip of the iceberg. They now own a chunk of the Republican party. Just ask Moscow Mitch.

It's the Russian mobsters, not Putin, who have a direct interest in The Magnificent +ACI-TRUMP+ACI. The Great Man blew his huge inheritance mismanaging his casinos and airline. Lucky for +ACI-TRUMP+ACI, the Russian oligarchs were stealing Russian assets and needed a place to hide the loot. The Great and Powerful +ACI-TRUMP+ACI just had to sign the paperwork where told to and the Rubles could be laundered into New York real estate. Oh, and The Great Man could continue with important stuff like Serial Trophy Wives and Gold Plated Bathroom Fixtures.

So, of course Putin struck back at the neocons (mostly Democrats) who interfered in Russian politics. He wouldn't stand for foreign election interference.

But The Traitor-in-Chief is just fine with the Russians interfering in US politics.
