Why do y'all have a compulsion to earn the label "lower 48"?
(If it's to show why we're the "top ten" then such efforts are appreciated)
According to the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union, Canada
has the unilateral right to join the U.S. (presumably only as a single
state) since that provision was not altered by the Constitution.
