[Grundig Satellit 800 Millenium]

I am from Austia, Europe, and I've been given told that the 800
from Grundig is the weakest receiver of the Satellite product
range. Almost every review gives very bad reports and rather
recommends to buy a Sony.

The most recognized review, the Radio Database International White
Paper, rates the Satellit 800 very high (4 1/4 stars out of 5).

Thanks for your quick answer. My comment is late. Sorry.

I'm really asthonished that there is a different meaning about the
Staellit 800 between the U.S. and Europe. If this receiver is as good
as you and the reviews are describing I wonder why this product is not
still distributed in Europe (espacially into Germany & Austria). Maybe
there is a company-policy behind as I've heard that Grundig Germany
has nothing in common with Grundig in the USA.

Although, thanks for your comment. I will ask my dx-club for
additional information. They will surely have latest news about the
800-series. If not I darely would a question to this group :-)

Greetings from Austria.

Tamas
