XM is quickly approaching 1 million paying customers. Serius better get with
the program or prepare for a "Fire Sale" as I doubt they will make it. As XM
gets bigger...the competition seems to get dimmer and dimmer...Eddie

Not the same vibe at all. Real commercials are meticulously crafted
to stimulate specific regions in the brains of ''consumers'' who have
been carefully cultivated to respond to the stimulus, since they were
small children. They are often insulting the very same people they
are motivating. That should tell you something.

Easy way to settle this - just demonstrate that HBO doesn't draw any

Sorry Pal. I'm not in the target demographic and have never watched
''Sex in the City''.

Product placement is not commercials.

Commercials are scientifically designed little pieces of PsyOps mind
control with visual and audio cues to open certain ports in your
psyche. They are evil and should be avoided at all costs.

If I see a can of Coke in the movies I think: " tooth decay, type II
diabetes", and that's that.

I don't feel like I'm being screwed with on a sub-conscious level.

When you watch "Sex in The City", the main character opens up her pink
Apple Laptop computer for all to see. THAT is a commercial, paid for, by
Apple. She then gets with her friends and opens a can of Coke, another
commercial this one paid for by Coke-a-cola. Whether they bother you, or
not, is not the question. The fact is nothing on TV or Movies anymore
just happens. If you see a name brand anything, it is a paid spot, put
in that show and paid for by the sponsor.
When you see a short show between the movies. You know the ones. A
behind the scenes 30 minute exclusive about a movie that is now showing,
or about to be released. It may not give you the vibes of a commercial,
but HBO or Showtime, or whoever is showing it, either gets a direct
payment or gets that same movie for a reduced price when released to cable.
It's all about money.
