Hello, I am looking for another radio similar, or equivilent to the
DX-398
what I want in it is great AM/LW reception, great shortwave radio
reception
and much better than the 398 portable. Also I am looking for
excellent FM
reception that has great selectivity, sensitivity and image rejection
also.

Can anybody give me some suggestions and experience with that
recommended
receiver, also what did you receive on the receivers you recommend
for to
check out. Thanks

I do perfer Grundig, Sangean, and ICOM, Drake
Radio Shack is not for the shortwave listener due to their poor
construction
of radio equipment and service , but still a great source to budget
minded and beginning shortwave listeners and intermediate shortwave
listeners.
