Otherwise, Pete McNulty (?) called in, who designed the extended audio transmitters for 9329.7 & 5100. He seems to have converted some old analog components, rather than using a digital method as does CHU & WWRB for compatible sideband. (but what WBCQ does is really only semi-compatible, since it's what the WRTH calls "single sideband with reduced carrier. This is the system that holds the promise for future world-wide application." I guess WBCQ is using Passport's definitions.) |
