Default BBC Web Sites

Does anyone have any information as to why the BBC internet web sites
"appears to be down".
I have been trying all day today (July 19, 2003) to access BBC web sites
without any results.
Has the BBC been attacked by a successful hacker, or has the servers
(all of the servers) crashed?
Anyone with information?

I just tried it at 355 UTC, but it didn't come up.

I also noticed today that the audio for WMP didn't work at all.
