On a recent trip to Toys-R-Us they had some near the check out axiles for about $3. They were about the size of the smaller Slinky JR's, but they were not being sold under the Slinky Brand Name. Instead that were labeled "Metal Spring Toy" (Made in China). ~ RHF .. .. = = = "Joe Strain" = = = wrote in message . .. I get Mine at WAL MART for $1.88 each...they weren't that cheap when I was A KID Yodar "starman" wrote in message ... Steve Day wrote: They work because they are made of metal. :-) Well, yeah. But so's a hundrded feet of stretched out wire. And when you can attach an antenna wire to a Slinky, hang it out a window, and get BETTER reception than the hundred feet of wire... Wassa Slinky???? You know you're getting old when the younger generation has never heard of a slinky. :-) -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 80,000 Newsgroups - 16 Different Servers! =----- |
