Judah: Definitly go for it if a cheap one shows up. It is a good way
to get to know what you like and what you don't. I went through that
phase and I guess I still am in it to a certain extent.
One interesting, to me anyway, observation on the Sangean 909. I
have one of the Radio Shack labelled unit and a Sangean 808a which has
no sideband and only a few memories. It turns out that I really like
the 808a better than the 909 because it suits my style of operation
better.
