Commentary -- White nationalist radio personality Hal Turner has stopped
broadcasting for lack of funds, and it seems apparent that the rest of his
network is headed into the toilet. Turner, who mysteriously suffered heart
attacks and illnesses each month this year right when his bills were due,
announced the shut down today on his website.

The irony of the shut down was that it came just days after Turner publicly
denounced the VanguardNewsNetwork affiliated website ShopWhite, which has
already turned enough profit in its first two days to pay the costs of
operating VNN, VNN Forum and its own server through the end of August.

Turner's inability to turn a profit is an object lesson to White Nationalists,
who have now been denied a major and popular radio show.

Turner had commanded a large audience, but had been unable to find a way to
make his show meet costs. he had tried billing people to use his messageboards
and invested in a number of expensive tools to lock people out of his server.

Turner's failures comes as the National Alliance prepares for a leadership
change as well, with VanguardNewsNetwork's Alex Linder expected to replace NA
radio broadcaster Kevin Strom in the next two to three weeks. Turner had been a
strong supporter of Strom and has repeatedly denounced Linder as having been
brainwashed by this website.
