I have had that very annoying problem with my 2010 since

the day I bought
it. I took it to the service center and they said they couldnt

find anything
wrong with it.
Mine has always been intermittent.
Whenever I turn the radio and then back on, I usually get the

error 3 message.
I feel very lucky if I can ever turn that radio on without the

error 3 message.
I have to turn the radio on and off numerous times and

finally it will work
properly.
I have new AA batteries in there and I have tried taking

them out and
letting everying reset and still the problem exists.
I have not tried the paper clip idea though.

I seem to remember somebody in the past installing a small
capacitor across the battery terminals in order to cover short
losses of voltage when the batteries move slightly during normal
use. Has anyone tried this sort of thing?
