Default Midas Report

Michael at Midas Report, now on (from 3:00 to 4:00 PM Eastern) says that he
hopes that Alabama is forced to take down the 10 Commandments, since this
violates the Separation of Church and State.

Since Michael is so learned, perhaps any of you that deal with Michael and
the services that he offers might wish to reevaluate your opinion of him.

There is no mandated "Separation of Church and State". The 1st Amendment
says, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,
or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble,
and to petition the government for a redress of grievances".

Correctly referred to, it is known as the "Establishment Clause", since it
refers to the establishment of a religion.

An Alabama courthouse display of the Ten Commandments is not mandated by
Congress, therefore it is not in violation of the 1st Amendment.

Michael is a pinhead. So I would imagine are the services that he offers.
The world is coming to an end, therefore you should buy gold to protect
yourself. I see Mike, this makes a lot of sense.

Michael say's that he's worried about the feelings of Islamics that haven't
had their god adequately represented, therefore all religious depictions,
despite the Judeo-Christian foundation of this country, should be
suppressed. Feel free to repost this posting everywhere, even pornography
groups. I know that it's a risk that automated systems may acquire his e-
mail address that is listed above and below, but the news of Michael's
aversion to Christianity and seeming concern for Islamics should be widely
known.
