The book "Passport to Worldband Radio" lists Radio Radonezh, Samara in
Russia transmitting in russian from 17:00 to 20:00 UTC, roughly 9am PST
to Noon Pst.

6245 is also an active eurpoean pirate frequency.

Its not a pirate. I have a ear for that. I listen regulary to european
pirates in the 48 meter band. I can identify the pirate
stations better then the commercial stations although i am learning about
that band. The station on 6.245 is a riddle for
me so thats why i asked. It could be Radonezh radio from Samara Russia. I
live in the Netherlands so a Russion station
is a good possability considering that 48 meter band is aimed at Europa. Now
i know the transmission times the station is
on i am gonna check it again tonight. Thanks for that information. Also
thanks for the book tip.

John.
