Figures... it's a bit out of date now. You'll notice that 12010 is an
'alternate' frequency for the Radio Maryja program. It would appear that
Voice of Russia decided it liked the frequency too!, so they decided to
put it in their line-up.

You'll also notice that Passport 2003 does not show French from Radio
Maryja on 12010.

In article et,
says...

12.010 French language 18:57 choral folk music. Old Radio Moscow interval
signal then apparently news.

I'm wondering if this was Radio Maryja, Poland or Radio Moscow ? It is
listed as Poland relayed from Samara, Russia, but I could not make out the
id because the signal was not that clear or strong.

Thanks.

You're... a cat?

A cat that listens to shortwave?

That's incredibly cute...

Contrary to Voice of Russia's schedule I am currently listening to them in
French on 12010 at 1645 (they were supposed to drop this freq after the 6th of
September from 16-17 and begin at 1700). The sked is shown on the EiBi site
however.

ID'ing as La Voix de Russie.

I'm not sure whether it's cute when my cat does it, but it's logical. She
likes interval signals with bird calls. Channel Africa's sign-on at 0500 on
11710 is a particular favorite of hers; she misses RNZI on 11820 though.

Interesting to note that just before 1700 there was a brief moment in English
after the interval signal where the announcer said 'This is Moscow... you are
tuned to the World Service of Radio Mos...' then the tape is cut off. Then back
into French... looks like they still have a bit of updating to do.

I've been hunting for a good list of some sort that doesn't require money.
Passport is good, but conditions have varied so much, and world events have
forced so many economic problems, that it is pretty difficult to keep
absolutely on top. Thanks for your info - much appreciated :)

Yep s ! What really caught my attention was the OLD Radio Moscow tune !!!
Haven't heard THAT in years LOL.

Nope, not a cat, but the tag goes with the picture of a kitty I use for a
signature now but can't include on this board g. I'll bet your kitty like
the interval signal for RAI, Rome g.
