Mr. Shaffer,

You get what you pay for; your comment was/is very out of place and adds
absolutely nothing to the topic. In contrast the GeoAlert Wizard provides a
convenience because the user doesn't need to go to a web site, the current
conditions are always available. The software also provides "at a glance"
space weather and is available in fully-functional trial version. This
information is/was on topic, relevant to this newsgroup and very much "news"
It cost the user nothing to try for 30 days. Long before the trial ends the
user will know if the software is worth the price.

In the future please be very careful with the with the libel. Perhaps you
should research the term "spam" before misusing such in the future.

For your convenience - libel - a written or oral defamatory statement or
representation that conveys an unjustly unfavorable impression b (1) : a
statement or representation published without just cause and tending to
expose another to public contempt (2) : defamation of a person by written or
representational means.

Further, for your convenience, here is "the easy" definition of "spam".
"Usenet spam is a single message sent to 20 or more Usenet newsgroups."

Here's a more formal definition - The term "spam," as used on this
newsgroup, means "the same article (or essentially the same article) posted
an unacceptably high number of times to one or more newsgroups." CONTENT IS
IRRELEVANT. 'Spam' doesn't mean "ads." It doesn't mean "abuse." It doesn't
mean "posts whose content I object to." Spam is a funky name for a
phenomenon that can be measured pretty objectively: did that post appear X
times?

Read mo
http://www.cybernothing.org/faqs/net-abuse-faq.html#2.1

For further enlightenment see:
http://spam.abuse.net/overview/whatisspam.shtml

So you see you are grossly incorrect and libelous.

Regards,
Jim

But the various web sites one can get space weather data from don't cost
anything and don't spam the newsgroup.
