But I'd like to hear Swarzennegger's and any other candidate's opinions on
such issues. Are there Constitutional issues worth considering? Is it
practical for a state to regulate radio, or whatever within it's boarder? I
doubt a candidate would have a canned answer at hand, but might be able to
cobble up a reasonable answer based on a bit of knowledge and some general
principles.

could end up with fifty "MCC"'s (Mississippi Communications Commission) or
(FillInTheBlank Communications Commission).

Sounds like a tax hike to me sigh.

And a patronage paradise! Think of all the no-bid contracts! Tax increase?
Of course. But, since the local politicians would call it an unfunded
federal mandate, no locals would lose their jobs. Whatta deal!

We have some pretty sharp lawyers around here. I'm a little surprised an
ambulance load of shiny-suited, diamond pinky-ringed sharks weren't sent to
help in the California case..Maybe nobody could arrange the early releases
on time. .
