When I log what I've heard on shortwave, I have two columns in my log: one
for local mean time and one for coordinated universal time. The Seattle area is on Pacific Daylight Time, so to get local mean time I simply subtract one hour. For UTC (gmt) I add 8. Of course, if the result is over 24, I subtract 24. the Dx 394 lets you set a local time and another time zone, so I can swap back and forth. |
