Hi,
GMT changes for DST- (GMT) Greenwich Mean Time : Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London Target "Daylight Time" Active Bias: -01:00 Hours Target Active Bias: -60 minutes, Standard Bias: 0 minutes GMT Daylight Time Bias: -60 minutes Month: March, Day: 30, Day of Week: Sunday, Hour: 1 GMT Standard Time Bias: 0 minutes Month: October, Day: 26, Day of Week: Sunday, Hour: 2 == Try out the "Time Zone Browser" in KCal+, which is "QSLware" or in Beacon-Time Wizard. Browsing the time zones, and observing effects without changing your system clock, provided by windows is interesting. Also useful for figuring out current time "elsewhere" in the world. www.taborsoft.com Regards, Jim -- email sent to: is discarded without being seen. Sorry for any inconvenience. "mike" wrote in message ... I use the IGL database browser and it says the UTC time. England observes Daylight savings so does UTC reflect this? Chaning my time clock on my computer to GMT gives me the daylight saving option. I can check that box and then the clocks dont match. So might one infer UTC does NOT reflect daylight savings? mike |
