Default Ethiopian

Passport lists:

Clandestine V. of Ehtiopian Unity via Germany, language not listed 15.565
18:56 s/off 19:30

The database file I downloaded from http://www.eibi.de.vu/ lists:

clandestine V. of Democratic Path of Ethiopian Unity via Germany, but do not
know what language the code was referring to, but is directed to eastern
africa. The signal was pretty good. They had a political discussion of some
sort with the word "democracy" mentioned many times, and then some african
style music.

The language code is AH, that is Amharic, a language used in Ethiopia. You'll
find the language codes at or near the bottom of the schedules page.

BTW, would you personally log that as Germany or Ethiopia ? This is the
closest I've ever gotten to hearing anything from Ethiopia. MM

Germany, and more specifically it would count using the NASWA Country List as
East Germany as it seems as though the transmitter site is in Nauen, which was
considered East Germany.

I don't think transmitters favour one political ideology or another. They are just
transmitters, though there are a few of Russian manufacture at the Nauen site.
