What? You want to critisize people who try to contribute to a specific

I don't know Frank, I'm having a great day out here in the desert and
my scanner works well, eats batteries but I can recharge it.
The radio reception is great out here. The Sat 800 works well.

ORIGINAL POSTER asks something like this:

I am thinking about getting a Blap-O-Matic 99 tabletop receiver. How well
does
this radio perform? Has anyone had any problems with it? Please share your
hands-on experience with your Blap-O-Matic 99. Thanks.

SOME IDIOT posts the following reply:

I don't know anything about the Blap-O-Matic 99, but I do have a Radio Snatch
XYZ-222, which seems to do a great job for a portable. It eats batteries,
though. I really like the little red signal strength LED.

But IF, Bill gets in again then he is going to post good stuff to RR Gay
and it will only apply to Gay's who use SW radios.
But gays use shortwave radios. In China they have a wind up radio with
out a display.

rruB

Just wait 'till Bill sells the display technology to the Chinese.

Yea But, my YB400 works fine and I don't think it has anything to do
with the Sony 7600.

Burr

Maybe not. But identical twin radios, with consecutive serial numbers, will
oftentimes expirience the same problems. Even if they are in different
countries or are on different sides of the world. I think I heard all about
it from Art Bell.

You call him an idiot, by doing so you most certainly show your own
ignorance. He had something to say and he said it. Perhaps, in his own
way, he's just trying to be part of the group? Back-off and give the man
some space.

I believe the 99 uses geribles
rather than hamsters thus having the longer tail that pulls in that extra
faint signal.

In the 99's manual on the page discussing the gerbil drive, there's a
warning that reads "WARNING: DO NOT INSERT GERBIL INTO ANUS."

Apparently the OP has never heard of "thread drift."

From now on, everyone keep changing the subject line to reflect exactly what
you're talking about in order to avoid upsetting Mr. Blab.
