![]() "Bruce Van Inwegen" wrote in message . com... Hi All! I'm a diehard Chicago Cubs fan and now I'm stuck. Months ago I scheduled a fishing/camping trip for the Smokey mountains that will start this week. I'll be camping in a mountain meadow and the only think I'll be able to pick up is shortwave broadcasts. Does anyone know of an English language station that will be broadcasting the World Series? I have a 30 year old shortwave radio and lots of room to string up an antenna? Thanks a bunch! I'm sure the Armed Forces Radio Network will carry the World Series. These transmissions are all in SSB: http://myafn.dodmedia.osd.mil/radio/shortwave/ I was listening last night to 7.507 with a good signal. Frank Dresser |
