Anyone else planning to go to the big party in Kitty Hawk NC 17 Dec '03 ?? I'm taking the Sat800 and wondering if anyone has prior info on unusual frequencies of interest. Where can we get more info about the Kitty Hawk gathering? |

I'm taking the Sat800 and wondering if anyone has prior info on unusual frequencies of interest. Where can we get more info about the Kitty Hawk gathering? start at http://www.centennialofflight.gov/index.cfm there are a billion links. Actual day on site tickets already sold out. I got my long HF antenna up yesterday and was rewarded with pulling in a very weak BBC African service from Meyerton, South Africa, on 3255 at 0320 to 0340Z on my old hollow state NC-125. Verified frequency on the Sat800. This was the first trans-equatorial I've ever logged in the 90 meter band. Aviation WX from Shannon, Ireland was solid copy. |
