![]() "Mike Lee" wrote in message ... Hi Group, Can any one help on this anoying matter please? I have an DX-394 in a room where Broadband cable for the Internet was installed, since that day I have interferance on my DX, Long wave and Medium wave. Shortwave bands dont seem to get any where as near interferance. Since I like to do a lot of Medium DX this has become intollerable. Has any one any ideas on what I can possibly do about this? I have tried a loft antenna but I get the same problem. I am using no earth cable. The antenna is an outside 50' long end fed. I have a co-ax that I can use but will it be worth the trouble? TIA, Mike...... -- Remove NOSPAM to reply http://uk.geocities.com/swift240/mikes_page_1.html This Email has been cleaned with soap, metholated spirits, and a brillo pad........ Try grounding, shielded lead-in or anything else you can think of. I doubt anything will reduce the interference much. But it should add credibility to the one thing which may help. Written complaints. I don't know who in the UK takes RF interference complaints, but I'm sure you'll get an answer here. The BBC should also have an interest. Also, if your neighbors are having interference problems, encourage them to complain. You could also post your question to the UK radio amateur groups. Frank Dresser |
