James Latham was just now speaking on RFPI. He says the University for Peace has turned off the water and cut the phone lines. I'm still not quite sure why James Latham is claiming why censorship is the motivation for the eviction. He has suggested that the new University administration doesn't like the anti-NAFTA/WTO slant of some of the programming, but he also seems to be saying the University isn't offering any clear justification. He's putting the blame for the changes at the University squarely on Maurice Strong. It's ironic that the biggest threat to RFPI is a billionaire Globalist Socialist -- and not someone from the Vast Right Wing. Frank Dresser Indeed, having been in the San Francisco radical movement when I was younger (mid 1990s), I can tell you that the different factions of "people's liberators" mostly argue among themselves as to correctness of ideology instead of attacking the Evil Capitalist Scum (tm). It's like Afghanistan without the guns. The common joke is that the "socialist movement" is really the "socialist standstill". ![]() |
