Lincolnshire Poacher
Anyone out there who is interested in spy numbers stations, here's a tip.
I've been catching the infamous Lincolnshire Poacher at 4PM (sharp!) central US time on frequency 6959 USB all this week. Today she was on 7337 USB as well, but there was an atomic clock interfering with the signal. Her signal has been weak but readable for the most part, but yesterday was particularly robust due to an approaching thunderstorm. For more information on the Lincolnshire Poacher, including a full schedule of her broadcasts, go here http://www.simonmason.karoo.net/page14.html I know that this is all old hat to a lot of you, but some of the less seasoned among us may find this info useful. UJ I hear this station all the time when I tune in. They operate 1200-2200z. There is also a "sister station" called Cherry Ripe.. but I've not heard it in my area for some time. I got a schedule and personal recordings here... http://www.angelfire.com/rebellion2/sw_underground1 73 |
