Radio Australia's 9.580 mhz experiences interference with a V.O.A. transmission around the 1400-1500 G.M.T. time frame! During the solar flares, 9.580 mhz would fade away as 1400 G.M.T. approached! Love Lucky Ocean's "Planet", and would love to hear his second hour as well, just like back-in-da-day(heck, that wuz last year) !!! S.W.A.R.L. # WA6020SWL !!! RA used to register 9580 to North America for the time period 1100-1300 UTC. They stopped doing so about twenty years ago. That frequency is now registered only for the South Pacific. It just happens to be received well in NA too. There is no 'official' recourse for an interference problem when the frequency is not registered for the area where the interference is occurring. Sometimes it helps to write to both countries to encourage a solution. I did this many years ago with a similar interference problem and it was resolved in a week or so. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
