Australia has been on 9.580 for the 11 years I been into SWL. Usually a good
signal. The bigger challenge is to pick up some of the islands in the South
Pacific. I was able to pull in Radio Tahiti on a Realistic DX-440 with a
longwire back in the mid-1990's. Then the station closed down. They use to
play local island music. It would fade in and out usually late at night.
