Hi,

I am almost embarrassed to ask this..so basic for a group such as this
but...

what is Dxing? I hear the term DX on short wave all the time but don't know
what it means.

Also..regarding my post about the filtering out the religious zealots..it
was tounge and cheek *S*. But I DO find them most annoying!

But good responses..the ol' on off switch is often very handy as well as the
ol channel changing!

Finally..how long should an external antenna ultimitely be? is it the longer
the better? 10 feet? 100 feet? Is there a distance beyond which there is
deminishing returns?
