Kevin,

The VOA also uses that freq durong the time period of 0300-0400 GMT.
They use various languages during that tome periodfrom 0100-0500 GMT. The
listed ID for Sudan during this period is Republic of Sudan Radio. Radio
Omdurman is for their 1600-1800 GMT block.

Good Listening and a Happ Holidays DXing Era!

I've been hearing a station in Arabic here for the last week, around
03-04+UTC, increasing in strength since last Tuesday. Reference books list
this frequency and time as Radio Omdurman, Sudan.

I've listened repeatedly for mentions of "Huna Omdurman" "Sudan" and the
like but have not been able to hear anything close to an ID. Most songs are
by female vocalists, with long Q & A -type discussions the majority of
programming.

Has anyone gotten a complete ID for this? Are there specific times in the
03-04 range when ID's have been heard?

Sudan would be a new country for me so I welcome information on this. By

the
way, my rx is a JRC NRD-515 with indoor longwire.

Thanks and 73's
