Or the grasp of current events.

Hey, dumbass -- it was a joke -- get a clue... "What's the frequency
Kenneth" is what the guy that mugged Dan Rather kept repeating. It's also a
pretty nice song by REM.

Got more clues than you ever dreamed of...

"What's the frequency
Kenneth" is what the guy that mugged Dan Rather kept repeating.

I'm very much aware of that.

It's also a
pretty nice song by REM.

It's so-so...

Sorry I can't resist! You think this is a current event? I just had to go look
it up on Google, and the 'What's the frequency Kenneth' event with Dan Rather
took place in 1986.

Get a grip on reality! It's 2003! You sir, are the one who needs to 'get a clue'

Good luck!

Get a grip, Steve -- you're obsessing about this, and replying to your own
posts...(sigh) What's your problem?

You're actually spazzing about this enough to "google" it? You must have a
lot more time to waste than me!

It was just an offhand remark (that you didn't "grok") and your response was
rude (as my response to yours was).

If it makes you feel better, use the phrase "pop culture" -- I REALLY don't
care.

Back to radio...

What's yours? Oh yeah, I know, not knowing what constitutes a 'current event'.

You're actually spazzing about this enough to "google" it? You must have a

No spaz here, but I'm sure you're having an attack when it's pointed out that
you have your head up your ass when it comes to 'current events'! To much time
with REM perhaps?

Grok! You really are lost in the 'popular culture' of the past are you not?

Uh, it is you sir who are obsessing.

Get over it, you made a mistake, move on!

Can you grok that?

ROTFL!

Look, Steve, I don't know if I caught you on a bad day (or what), but I do
know that you've been trying WAY too hard to act like a jerk towards me,
even to the point of being childish (which I alluded to on my last post).
There's no need for that. Frankly, we share at least one common interest
(radio).

I would have "plonked" you long ago if I didn't think you had anything
worthwhile to say. I agree with a lot of your posts, and thought that you
were generally a pretty good guy (from what I've read in other posts). I
was surprised that you started this.

I think you just reacted badly to my original post (as I did to your
insulting reply), and there it was.

Anyway, flame on if you feel the need, but I do hope that instead you'll
accept my sincere offer of friendship on this group, and my apologies for my
reaction to your initial insult (for which you didn't apologize).

Best regards,

Stinger
