... Bush's tax rebates already put more burden on the working class who got almost nothing back compared to the rich. More misinformation, I fear, that is being spread! The truth is: percentage wise, everyone got the same percentage back as everyone else! The reason that the "rich" got more back, was that they payed "more" in taxes. The "rich" pay 90% of the taxes paid in this country. "Most" of the low income people essentially pay no taxes as they get back what is taken out of their paychecks when they file their tax returns. In fact, some of them get what was taken out, plus more dollars, through "earned income credit. That credit can sometimes amount up to thousands of dollars. This, "Greatest Country on Gods Green Earth", gives more people, more opportunity, than any other country, on this planet. All one has to do, is to be willing to work hard, and sometimes to sacrifice, in the short term, to be successful in the long run. That willingness, I believe, has been lost to a large number of people, due to the largess given to them by the social, liberal do-gooders, in the form of social welfare. Why should people want to work hard, if other people are willing to give them money for just sitting on their, ever widening posteriors? -- "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass." --Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto "notchjohnson" wrote in message ... Mike Lindo wrote: You don't mention that the working Europeans pay for all of that through enormous taxation. Again the burden is carried by the working people. That is what would also happen here if the socialist liberals have their way, here in the United States. And yes, Toto, this is the, "Greatest Country on Gods Green Earth". Bush's tax rebates already put more burden on the working class who got almost nothing back compared to the rich. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
