UAE radio in Dubai
Does anyone know if UAE radio in Dubai is still broadcasting? I haven't

You can check the skeds available on the following page: http://www.eibi.de.vu/ Additionally, quite a few other stations use transmitter facilities in the UAE. Thanks for the link Steve. Is this a bad year for short wave reception? I
wonder because I used to be able to pick up a lot of middle eastern stations and now I can hardly pick up any... I'm in Minnesota, and my recievers are a portable Sony ICF-SW7600G and a 1938 Zenith 9S262 both with a long wire antenna hanging outside my window on the second floor... sometimes the old Zenith picks up stations better than the new Sony... of course the fading of signals is more noticable on the old Zenith than on the Sony.
