Actually that's probably not a bad price. The most recent R8 went for
$499.00 on eBay. Typically they still sell there for $400-500. I'm
guessing the remote cost around $75.00 or so (maybe more, I don't know).
The upgraded tilt bail I think cost's around $40 (correct me if I'm
wrong). And I think Mike sells the upgraded tuning knob for around $10.

So add it up...

Lets make the R8 $450 on ebay.
Let's make the remote $40.00
Make the bail....... $20,
And the tuning knob $5.00
$515.... not to far off the mark, and
I've discounted all the add ons.

Looks like a good enough price to me.
