Default Icom R75 programming software etc.

I've had my R75 for about a year now, sans programming software. I haven't
noticed that the lack of a computer hookup has diminished my listening
enjoyment, but a comparison is impossible without buying the necessary
software and hardware.
Is it worth the investment?
Same question for my AOR AR8000.
Thanks!

I wrote tk75, free, open source software for the ICOM IC-R75.

You are welcome to download it from http://parnass.com

I don't warrant the software, but it won't cost you anything.
