I picked up one of these for $19.95US over the summer, and it was
worth the $19.00. I actually like the fact that it had an analog tuner. With just the radio and one of the cheap radio shack long wires, I was able to hear the BBC Antigua quite clearly. as well as DW, Radio Australia, and the other major international news feeds. It easily performed as well as my 399 and 396 given the conditions. But there are no features, as you've already noticed ;-) hth, jeff On Sun, 4 Jan 2004 06:24:35 -0500, R Vijay wrote: I have a question about this product. How good is it at receiving all the major Short Wave broadcasters ? Interms of reception what are its limitations ? How long have you had this set ? Any problems with it ? It looks like this was given a low rating as it doesn't have a clock, FM or Memory. All these are optional or not really essential for a SW Radio. Assuming it had all these features, would this product have got a rating of 3 or 4 ? Anyone using this product please share your experience.
