It looks to me that that the radio was designed to be a good SSB receiver and the AM was an after thought. i agree. It can work well for AM as long as you don't care about audio fidelity. This is not a broadcast listeners radio. IMO stock AM/SAM sucks; however, $80 at Kiwa will fix it. regards, phil ![]() |
