Cold????
Well on behalf of the Canadians who know what cold is I must say 22 is lovely and warm for January Monday it was -36C with a wind chill of -45C here. Perfect for shoveling off the 2 foot snow drift across my driveway. Now that's cold. How cold was it??? It was so cold that: I had to put a heater on the coax feed of my antenna to thaw out the signals so I could copy Radio Canada!!! Shawn Diverd4777 wrote: Woke up to 22 degfree weather & clear skies.. Felt I needed to get out & walk around a bit. - But it's So Cold out, and my Foot hurt, and I was conflicted.. - So I spoke to My Inner Child.. " Don't be Such A Pussy" it said.. " Take a walk" Braced with this Insight I ventured out , walking for about an hour, inspecting the rocks and the Ice and the Blue Sky.. Got back in & turned on Radio Canada; Discussion on Cold weater gear on 9.515.. Waiting for The Snow.. - Dan -- 73 and Best of DX Shawn Axelrod Visit the AMANDX DX site with info for the new or experienced listener: http://www.angelfire.com/mb/amandx/index.html REMEMBER ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN HEAR FOREVER |
