I have checked Ebay off and on the past couple years for shortwave radios
and I must say I never have yet seen what I consider a great deal on a used
or new shortwave radio.
Most are either being bid at the 'average' price one would expect for that
radio or higher than some retail stores. Many times I can find the radio
cheaper somewhere else.Anyone actually had a good deal off Ebay with
shortwave radios?

An additional comment: One cannot expect things to be given away! eBay is a
fairly efficient marketplace, and being such, prices generally tend to reflect
the 'true' value of the item.

There are always aberrations, but generally, eBay has 'fair market' pricing.
