The Eton E1 XM will be what the Grundig 900 was to be. Why keep calling the radios Grundig when Grundig isn't involved in designing them anymore? I am sure this is only the first of many new SW radios to come with the Eton name on them. As far as satellit ready -- my understanding is that the radio will NOT come with the small satellite antenna necessary to pick up the signal, plus you have to subscribe to satellite radio. So it will be ready - the receiver for satellite radio is there. If this were not the case, most radios would be satellite ready. |
