you will see Cuba revert back
to a Democratic Free State

??? Revert back? When was it ever a "Democratic Free State" in the past?
Batista, e.g., was a dictator. And, under him, there were only two classes of
people then, too.

If it weren't for the US boycott, Cuba would be in great shape today. But
Castro broke up the playground for the rich. Naughty, naughty.

I dunno. I think Cuba would still be a mess, thanks to Fidel.
Regardless of the US embargo, Cuba still has other trading partners. It
just doesn't have much to trade with.

If I stop and think about this a bit I'm not so sure it was off topic at
all. It will certainly generate some interesting listening, that's for
sure.

Sugar and, I believe, aluminum. If I recall correctly, the latter is controlled
by a French outfit, which has a lot of mining interests around the world.

Oh, and a few people who also lost out when Batista was run out. Some call
these people dissidents. G In exchange, Castro gets some peace.
