Steve,
I assume you've tried Yaesu and they're out of them? I picked one up from them only a couple of years ago when I called them for a replacement power switch knob. I asked if they had any other FRG-7 stuff lying around and it turned up on the computer. I haven't had the heart to use it yet. I have no pressing need for the fine tuning and I hate to take a drill to the faceplate. The kit is pretty trivial, a 4pf air variable (two rotor plates and one stator) and a 33pf ceramic. I guess the hard part would be getting a good match for the knob. Oz On Fri, 30 Jan 2004 01:20:07 +0000, Stephen M.H. Lawrence wrote: Not a big seller for me, sadly. Now....if you could find fine tuning kits for the FRG-7...*that* would be a quick seller! |
