I agree with Sanjaya, the Kaito SW radios, while
not perfect, have set a price/performance ratio that's hard to beat in today's receiver market. I can remember when the Grundig YB 400 sold for $250, the Sangean ATS 606 was $200, and so on. One of the things that I've always liked about Sangean is that when they release a new product it is well thought out, sturdy, and have fewer problems out of the box. Tom Welch |

This radio (model 1102) show to be SSB capable.
Will they receive SSB or LSB with the fine tuning or does tuning HAVE to support LSB/USB for reception? |

You can demodulate LSB or USB transmissions by adjusting the main and SSB "fine tuning" controls on the Degen/Kaito 1102. It takes a steady hand, but does not drify appreciably once you get the right spot. |
