It's not moving the S-meter here in Toronto but provided an interesting comparison of my single vs cascaded DX-394 radios using AM or ECSS on the second, AM on the first. The fading on ECSS is much less than on the AM from either radio. The second radio takes the 455kHz output of the first. Tom |
Brian, that is a FINE radio collection.

Pretty clear signal here in NYC.. & agree, been a Long time since they've been so clear Brian & Dan, I hear them here at my QTH in Cincinnnati,Ohio on my Hammarlund 140X and on my DX398 often, just about whenever I fish then for them. It's always a solid copy. What states are you guys monitoring from, may I ask? |

It *IS* 17675 'all the time.' |

Liberal Land... when your pal Kerry get's elected you can expect conditions to get worse, radio and otherwise... Out here in the Heartland though, we'll get by... Time and time again... |

I've noticed that RNZI sometimes has a good signal in the evening to the northeast US on 17675 while Radio Australia on 15240 can be quite weak. Both frequencies have similar beam headings, so it's curious how the propagation can be so different from two locations that aren't that far apart in shortwave terms. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
