But you stated much earlier that you did have a PhD. When then did Wayne
State
grant your Phd?

Though I had completed all the requirements for a double PhD at Wayne State
(one in Rhetoric and Public Address and the other in Interpersonal
Communication), they degree had not actually been conferred in 2000. Problem
with one of my dissertation advisors, who had left Wayne St, signing off on my
dissertation.

Want some help with that job search, Steve?

I'm glad you found another money to dance with you, today, Steve!

I like dancing with 'money' Fat Boy! LOL!

My current job does not require a PhD, just as my job at Weber State did not
require one.

That wasn't the issue Fat Boy! The issue was the fact that you did not indeed have
a PhD... and you still don't have it yet do you?

Since 2001 I've had a lot of time to work on those last few
reasons Wayne State was holding up granting my PhD.

But it has not yet been granted has it Fat Boy?

Why were you stating earlier that you did have a PhD?

Just a fabrication?

How you enjoying unemployment, Steve? Now what was the date that you last
worked? I always said that it's easy to be on the computer or Drake when you
don't have a job.

It must be hard on you filling the day with something to take your mind off
your current predicament. Like I said, I think I have a whole new perspective
on your grouchiness and bulliness. Those are your defense mechanisms, right?

Steve, you're never going to find another job until you turn the radio and go
out to look for one. Stop fighting on the computer and start your job search.
I teach Job Interviewing Skills, so I'll be glad to help. Lots of 50 somethings
make career changes every single day - You can, too.

Yeah right Fat Boy! I don't think I need your help nor your skills at lying or
fabrication.

Better watch out, your current employer might not look favourably upon the fact
that you've been telling people you've got a PhD when indeed you do not have one!

LOL!

I'm going to make it a point to contact Wayne State tomorrow and ask them if they
think it is proper for someone to claim that they have a PhD when indeed they do not.

If it has not yet been granted perhaps this might have some bearing on whether they
grant it or not!

You shouldn't be able to receive it as you are a liar and a fabricator!

Call anyone you want, Steve. But you ought to be calling prospective employers
in Michigan. I have a good job, but you, by your own admission, have been
unemployed for at least a year, right?

I'm sorry for wasting your time here on USENET. You need to get out and
interface with the real world. It's difficult. Been there, done that. But the
jobs won't come to you.

Dxing is fun, but having a job is necessary for sanity. Get out there, dude.

But you were at Weber State then.... how did you live in the slums of Detroit if
you were at Weber State?

It gets more and more interesting!

No, you get more and more boring!

Most academics take a position before completing their doctorate. They then
finish it up their dissertation and the final approval processes, including a
defense.

But, they don't even have PhD programs at Grand Valley State, do they?

I have no idea! The point is Fat Boy that you yourself do not have one!

However you have claimed in the past to have a PhD!

That is a lie, and that is a fabrication!

Have you told your present employer that you have a PhD?
