What will people think when reading through the archives 50 years from now
about N8KDV and MWB? No wonder countries can't get along. What if the USA
splits in two and MWB is President of the West USA and N8KDV is President of
the East USA? What will happen? Will it be war?

What will people think when reading through the archives 50 years from now
about N8KDV and MWB?

I hear you DeWayne. I've always thought a lot of Steve and I used too the same
Bryant, till he popped off about a post I made about the Bible and the
Russians.

Then I'd watch him do the same to ANYONE who *ever* brought up the word
*Christian* in their post and watch him ~try~ to belittle them and their faith.
To think, that is what is teaching our children today, it truly is enough to
make you want to shudder.

You two really should take it private and go the email route, I know, I don't
have to read it but come on.....I shouldn't even have to choose or wonder about
opening a post in this group because it's about my favorite hobby. That's why
I come here.

Please don't take offense, especially you Steve, I guess Bryant also....but
come on...it was *cute* at first. Now, it's too much.

*Just my take.

gray March 13th 04 12:51 PM

I'm with you Dxluver--just why won't these two guys take it somewhere else?
Is there a good reason? Why dump all this crap in this great group? You
know what? Neither one must have much of a life. Neither one has a clue
about being a Christian. I also join you in asking them both to go
somewhere else. Can anyone else speak up?

Listen up retard. When have I ever stated that I was a Christian?

Is there a pre-requisite to post here, i.e. being a Christian?

Sure...

....not *aiming* this at you, gray, but since you asked, addressing it to
you: first you have to understand that, practically speaking, nothing you
can do or say is going to change the behavior of someone on Usenet who is
jaw-clenched-determined to indulge in a perpetual micturating match.

So the answer is to screen out the posts of the individuals whose posts
bother you. I've put a couple of folks on a "30-day probationary plonk,"
and it's gotten a lot quieter in here.

I'd love to see the "shock troops" from Berkely. I'm sure a
batallion of "earth muffins" would prompt an instant
surrender from any foe.

Dude, you just don't know. I was teaching a summer session at UC-Berkeley
(learn to spell) in 1991 when four days of riots between the police and the
homeless broke out. If you have images of Berkeley being a battalion of "earth
muffins" you've created your own reality. Several deaths, dozens of police
officers beaten senseless and thousands of police called in from all over
California.

I'd take what I saw as a marauding attack force, anyday.

I someohow feel you've been neither place. Besides teaching at Berkeley, I went

Those militia weekenders in their K-Mart camos aren't even the best shock

Detroit, Philly, Chicago... What's the difference?

Really? Have you been to any? I've been to all three and let me assure that
inner-city Detroit is a whole cut below the rest. Though the Cabrini Greens
complex on the southside of Chicago might be close.

I've been in UPer-land, too. Those folks don't scare me. Those outdoorsmen need
to meet some backwoods Appalachians if they really want to see tough.

Since I get the West Coast, I also get the Marines at Camp Pendleton in sunny
SoCal. They'd whip our biker units into shape in no time... I guess I'd also
get the Crips and Bloods in LA and the Mexican prison gangs all over the West.
You really think those militia fakers in Michigan could keep up with those
shock troops?

Think again.

Ya Mike, like who in hell would marry Steve, all he does is sit around
and play with his radios, surf the net and argue with you.

Yep, and if I don't get up and take the garbage out, I may find myself free to
marry Steve.....

Your blow up doll gonna divorce you Fat Boy?

Detroit, Philly, Chicago... What's the difference?

Really? Have you been to any? I've been to all three and let me assure that
inner-city Detroit is a whole cut below the rest. Though the Cabrini Greens
complex on the southside of Chicago might be close.

I've been in UPer-land, too. Those folks don't scare me. Those outdoorsmen need
to meet some backwoods Appalachians if they really want to see tough.

Hey, Cuss is a Miami Indian, like me.

NOW, If you would just take care of your "diabetes" then you would have

a long and happier life.

So true. I've lost 25 lbs in the last two months, so things are looking up. I
really enjoy teaching back here in my hometown and hanging out with my extended
family. And my stress level has dropped loads since getting out of debate
coaching. Living the jetset life was really starting to wear me down.

Now I can just kick Steve around when I feel the need to relieve any stress.
Granted, it's a little like kicking the beagle, but to be frank, my beagle is a
lot nicer person than Steve.

Maybe that explains a lot. I'm half Cherokee.
