You'll hear the splatter on the modulation peaks. Steve Holland, MI Drake R7, R8 and R8B http://www.iserv.net/~n8kdv/dxpage.htm |

If its ongoing that's a bad sign. Brian -- Never under estimate the stimulation of eccentricity. Brian's Radio Universe http://webpages.charter.net/brianehill/ |
I hadn't noticed this prior to today, but jesus christ, they're everywhere.

Certainly not the first time RCI has had this problem, if I recall correctly it's happened off and on for many years. Steve Holland, MI |

I'm gonna check their web site. Brian -- Never under estimate the stimulation of eccentricity. Brian's Radio Universe http://webpages.charter.net/brianehill/ |

I'm gonna check their web site. I think they have 3 old Collins there and 3 Harris and at least 3 ABB - Asea Brown Boveri transmitters. But perhaps some of those may have been de-commissioned. My guess is that this problem TX is the same one they use on 9515, because back around Christmas, I heard the same splatter problem. Steve (above) heard the splatter also and responded to a post I made to the newsgroup. This evening, I was trying to listen to VOA on 9775 and they were all over them. Tuned up to 9820 and noticed they were interfering with Radio Havana also. TB |
