Default mw loop

There is a particular program I am interested in on the am bcb, but of
course there is one other station broadcasting on the same frequency. Both
are equally strong and clear and neither is local. I am guessing that
building a loop can help in nulling out the offending station. Anyone have a
particular homemade mw loop design that they have used with satisfactory
results? I know that the key component is a variable capacitor if my memory
serves me. Can I easily find one of these? Anyway, I appreciate any help.
