Hi, I want to tell you about a great Shortwave Receiver -- a classic DX radio, at a great price on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3089807058 Merci, Anna An SX-100 Mk II was my first real receiver, in 1962. It cost $325.00 in those days. I don't think you'll get your asking price of $700.00, but this is a nice example of the model. "PM" |

Perhaps he meant they were all oozing an amount of wax consistent with a 40+ year-old receiver that runs hot. "PM" |

At least it looks like a real radio, one that my late wife (N5GIN) would have
allowed in the living room. I'm sure my DX-392 can do much better than that SX-100, but the 392 hasn't much more excitement to its appearance and "feel" than does my $9.99 Bellow and Howl. Bill, K5BY |
