You need therapy. 3.5mm is what the world outside of Radio Shack
calls 1/8". The tension of the contacts deal with any slop quite nicely. On 22 Apr 2004 19:42:49 -0700, elfa wrote: I know their supposed to be 'close enough' but actually it's driving me crazy. An 1/8" plug is actually 3.175mm, ever so slightly smaller than 3.5mm This causes headphones with a 1/8" plug to not fit snug enough into my Japanese radio headphone jacks, which in turn causes the headphones to only work in one ear unless you maintain slight pressure on the plug to make proper contact. Anyone else have this prob? Any solutions? Did a Google search and there are no 1/8" to 3.5mm adapters. thanks elfa |
