Indeed. Apparently, living "off the tit" of Big Government appeals
to many folks. Too bad - if they'd get off of their asses, and stop
worrying about the "underpriveledged," they might - MIGHT -
be able to put more cash in their pockets.

Self - reliance is a *good* thing - it has served me well, so far.

Horse****. Universal health care hasn't helped much in China, and
it hasn't worked well enough in Toronto, where a full - blown outbreak
of SARS could be a reality one of these days.

Okay, dip****, put on your reading glasses:

I AM AGAINST SOCIALIZED MEDICINE, AND ALL OF THE PEOPLE
I CALL FRIENDS ARE AGAINST IT.

Imagine health care with the efficiency of Congress and the compassion
of the IRS. NO FRIGGIN' WAY.

Got that, ****o?

The AMSAT net is really interesting, too.

Let me tell you, I just upgraded to General, and am now studying
for my Extra ticket, and I can't believe I put this off for so long.

Getting your Tech should take about two weeks of studying, and
so many of the ham clubs in the Twin Cities have classes. I'd definitely
encourage you to go for it!

Care to name some efficient government programs that save everyone money?

The only people who are against it are pharmaceutical companies, some
insurers and a few greedy physicians.

People who are not interested in paying more than they already do for health care seem to be against it too - as are people who don't want to see their health care rationed.

Bush is going down in flames and he's going to take all you brain-dead
cowardly traitors with him. If you had any sense of patriotism and
love for the country you'd realize this.

Have some more liquor and religion and TV and whatever else you use to
numb away the facts.

I've listened in to the AMSAT net too, some good stuff. I've been studying a
bit though I think my "Now Your Talking" book is already out of date in
regards to the test pool. I can usually get about 70% in the practice tests
without too much trouble. Should I take the test now or wait till the AARL
revamps the licensing?

I think you might try going to http://www.qrz.com/p/testing.pl and take the
practice test for the Tech ticket. Those practice tests sure did me some
good!

And if you come up with something you don't quite get, send me an email
and I'll try to make sense of it for you.
